Founder of BRACT

Sundara Prahladacharya Bhattar, Founder & Managing Trustee of BRACT is the 9th child of Sreeman Bhattar Raghavacharya and Smt Lakshmi Devi. He was born on 17th June 1971 and brought up in Warangal, Andhra Pradesh, India until 6 years of age. Prahladachary's sojourn towards Vedas began when his parents took him to His Holiness Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Srimannarayana Ramanuja Pedda Jeeyar Swamiji at a public gathering. There he chanted Sri Geetha Ramayanam and Acharya Astottaram without any stage fear in his 6th year. After listening to his chants swamiji blessed him with few tests in several levels of spirituality. With that swamiji got impressed and thus the seed of passion for Vedas was sown.

The raw "Prahladacharya" was transformed into a shining diamond by His Holiness Sri Sri Sri Tridnadi Sreemannarayana Ramanuja Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji in the Gurukulam . Under the guidance of H.H Chinna Jeeryar Swamiji and Sreeman Gopalacharya Swami, Prahladacharya gave his first sermon at the age of 10 years. He became "Dwivedi"at the age of 18. He learned "Krishna Yajurveda" from Ubhaya Vedanta pravartakacharya Sreeman Gudimella, Venkata Narasimhacharyulu, and "Atharvana Veda" from Brahmasree VadlamaniVenkateswara Avadhani.

He graduated in Vedas from Veda Vishwa Vidhyalayam Seetanagaram established by His Holiness Sri Sri Sri Tridnadi Sreemannarayana Ramanuja Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji. He was felicitated by Several Vedic Organizations of Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi etc. He was awarded as best and youngest Vedic Scholar by Govt of Andhra Pradesh four times. Presently he is offering his services to the lotus feet of Lord Venkateswara Tirumala Tirupathi Devastanams, Tirupati as "Astana Veda Pandit".

He is an avid reader of many sahitya grandhas and renders the Vedas to perfection. He has trained many Vedic scholars over the years and organized many programs based on Vedas and conducted numerous Vedic Seminars nationally and internationally. He has profound knowledge in Yagnas, Astrology, Vastu, Agam Shastra, Temple rituals, Prathistha, Utsavas, temple architecture, etc. A very soft spoken man with an immaculate personality, he can speak Sanskrit, English, Telugu, Hindi and Tamil fluently. He is married to Smt. B.S.Pavani Acharya who plays a pivotal role in all his endeavors. He is blessed with two children. He is an experienced and ideal person to lead and grow BRACT.

Prahaladaswamy understands both poverty and richness of life and growing up he also developed interest in charity. Gradually he increased the savings from his earning and donated for several services out of his interests. After a period of time in 2010 he decided to formalize his interest into a charitable trust named after his parents called Bhattar Raghava Charya Laxmi Devi Charitable Trust (BRACT). The mission of BRACT is to spread Knowledge and Spirituality to Humanity without any discrimination of caste, creed and religion.
